Description
English: Steins Pillar in the Ochoco National Forest in central Oregon. This is a natural column of the volcanic rock type called ignimbrite, also known as welded tuff, of andesitic composition, that was deposited by pyroclastic flows from a nearby volcano in Oligocene times.
